SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in computer hardware/software and Network technologies as well as in hardware/software diagnostic and corrective methodologies. They will possess a solid understanding of the methods and procedures for change management operations; and cybersecurity best practices, methods of mitigation, countermeasures, and resolving cybersecurity integration/implementation issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Build rapport and elicit problem details from IT customers.
Apply diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
Analyzing and monitoring network performance.
Provide network support and resolve connectivity issues.
Configure hardware and software to optimize network communication.
Set up LAN and WAN networks, as well as Voice Over IP.
Monitor and maintain network servers and perform upgrades.
Perform system administration tasks and ensure network security.
Document processes and monitor network performance metrics.
Consult with internal departments and train IT support staff.
Keeping up with advancements in network technologies and solutions.
Access software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions resources on the Internet to aid in problem resolution.
Identify and learn appropriate software and hardware used and supported by the organization.
Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing file backups, and configuring systems and applications.
Performing preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of servers, and network devices.
Test fixes to ensure problems have been adequately resolved.
Perform post-resolution follow-ups to help requests.
Evaluate documented resolutions and analyze trends for ways to prevent future problems.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. 5-7 years of experience as a network analyst, or similar.
In-depth knowledge of hardware, software, and network installation techniques.
Exceptional ability to provide network support and resolve errors.
Extensive experience with Inter-Network Operating Systems such as Cisco Systems and FortiGate.
Advanced knowledge of network setup and security.
Ability to keep up with advancements in IT network technologies.
Proficiency in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.
Exceptional communication skills.
Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, cell Phones and other IT hardware.
Experience with desktop and server operating systems, including Windows 10 Windows 11, Windows Server 2016, and Windows Server 2019.
Working knowledge of a range of diagnostic utilities.
Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or years equivalent work experience.
Certifications in Windows or equivalent work experience
