Metro area or St. Louis, MO.

Job Summary:

Designs, develops, evaluates, plans and tests engineering specifications for software programs and applications.  Leads a cross functional agile development scrum team.

Job Duties:

• Leads the scrum team with completing customer specified requirements


• Assists in creating the product backlog of requirements


• Critical member of early requirements definition and planning


• Works directly with the customer product owner to ensure thorough understanding of their requirements


• Defines future needs for the customer to consider adding to the backlog


• Continuously learns new technology and applies this learning to future development and integration


• Knowledge and experience with full stack development


• Conducts code reviews for the team


• Removes technical blockers for the team


• Quickly understands existing product architecture


• Works closely with Architect to defines future improvements to existing architecture and design


• Utilizes well defined software processes, such as Agile, to work in a rapid development environment as part of a development team.


• Designs, codes and unit tests front and back end solutions for integrated systems using packages such as in HTML, CSS, C++, C#, Java and JavaScript.


• Develops integration code to connect and interface systems and services.


• Develops solutions that utilize open standards and ICDs to promote interoperability through service based architectures.


• Supports the development and configuration of database systems. Analyzes, fixes, and documents DRs on systems.

Skills/Qualifications:

Required:

• 5+ years of experience


• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 4 additional years of experience in information technology.


• Use packages as in BASH, CSS, DOS_BATCH, HTML, Java, JavaScript, PHP, PYTHON, SQL, XML, and Indexing/Search Technologies required.

Desired:

• Technical certification Network +, Security +, Oracle or specializing in Software Development, or Cloud Computing.
