The Azure Systems Specialist will implement, monitor, and maintain Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to compute, storage, network, identity, governance, and security. Manage and maintain existing Microsoft Server infrastructure at remote locations. Must have good technical knowledge and be able to communicate effectively.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field with equivalent work experience preferred.
4 + years' experience in managing/supporting system infrastructure and 3+ years' in cloud services preferred and is considered a subject matter expert in Windows server administration and Azure cloud services
Experience implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting core Windows infrastructure services such as Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, IIS, Certificate Services, etc.
Azure experience such as: virtual machine provisioning, AD Connect, Hybrid Set Up with Azure AD, and Access Management.
Experience supporting Active Directory in a multi-site environment.
Experience administering Azure AD including Conditional Access
Experience administering and troubleshooting Azure MFA
Solid Microsoft 365 management and configuration experience preferred.

Responsibilities
Work under the direction of the Director of IT
Primary responsibilities include support of Azure and M365 cloud services and day-to-day operations, management of Windows Servers and server infrastructure.
Provide technical support on existing resources in the cloud and engineering new solutions while ensuring existing platforms remain stable and secure.
Manage all aspects of Azure including VMs, virtual networks, NSG, firewall, Intune, and various PaaS services used by the company.
Assist with management of M365 services including SharePoint Online, TEAMS and OneDrive.
Analyze technical needs, document requirements, and design technical solutions for the Azure environment.
Solid Microsoft server administration experience is required.
Contribute to future planning, implementation, and support of emerging cloud technologies.
Integrate solutions into existing infrastructure, consult on development projects, help deploy solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
Produce and maintain detailed architectural and operations documentation for Windows server and Azure Cloud processes and procedures.
Evaluate, test and install critical updates on a regular basis.
Assist with cyber security investigations when needed.
