Job Title: Guest Relations Rep.

Department: Non-Gaming Operation

Reports To: VP & GM Racing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

All guest relations staff must have a passion for meeting guest's needs. Horseshoe Indianapolis Guests Relations Representatives help make the guests experience the best at Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino. As a representative, you must be a strong relationship builder, high achiever, high level of organization, excellent attention to detail and the willingness to go above and beyond.

Primary Responsibilities


  • Communicate with guests to establish their needs
  • Ensure sales matrix is followed and completed
  • Maintain client relationships
  • Deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner
  • Promote awareness of company activities and events
  • Represent and participate in Community Activities for Indiana Downs
  • Resolve client concerns

Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED and guest service experience required. Experience in sales preferred. Must possess strong communication skills, be flexible and detail oriented. Ability to read and write; basic computer knowledge; active listening skills; ability to meet goals and deadlines; knowledge of horse racing terms, betting and programs. Must be able to obtain an Indiana Horse Racing License.

REQUIRED PERSONAL COMPETENCIES

Responsible for fostering a fun environment. Responsible for being gracious to all guests and co-workers. Responsible for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company-sponsored events. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures that behavior and appearance are in compliance with established standards. Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.
