Job Title: F&B Server

Department: Food & Beverage

Reports To: F&B Supervisor, and or Dual Rate F&B Supervisor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for serving meals and beverages to patrons in a prompt, correct and courteous fashion in any of the property's food and beverage outlets and banquet areas. Demonstrate sanitary food handling and equipment safety, properly store and label food items, maintain standards of sanitation and food handling based on County, State and Federal regulations. Maintain clean and neat work area. Follow the Steps of service for the venue they are working as outlined in the venue policies and procedures. Availability to work a flexible schedule. Assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times. Must follow all cash handling SOP's of the venue they are working. Performs all other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Previous serving experience required. Excellent customer service/communication skills essential . Available to work required schedule, as directed by department management. Must have neat and clean appearance and adhere to the casino policy on dress code and be out-going. Must have the ability to obtain and hold an Occupational License as required by the Indiana Gaming Commission and/ or Indiana Horse Racing Commission. Must be certified in Serve Safe Alcohol Awareness, and Indiana State approve Alcohol Training. Hold an Indiana ATC (Alcohol & Tobacco Commission) License. Position requires scheduling flexibility, may be required to work weekends, holidays, overnight, or overtime, based upon scheduling and business needs.
