About the Role:

Leepfrog Technologies, Inc. is searching for a barista to join our growing team. The barista works Monday-Friday, early morning to midafternoon, at our company headquarters in Coralville, IA. This is a 30 hr/wk, benefits eligible role. The barista plays a key role by preparing beverages and snacks for Leepfrog employees (a.k.a. the customers) and performing light janitorial duties. The Barista will have the opportunity to be part of a fun, entrepreneurial, Ed/Tech company with a welcoming and engaging culture.

What you’ll do

• Welcome customers. Determine their coffee interests and needs


• Educate customers by presenting and explaining the menu and answering questions


• Prepare hot and cold drinks, such as espresso, lattes, cappuccinos and teas


• Prepare and serves snack foods


• Maintain a clean and well-stocked workspace


• Runs errands, when needed, to pick up supplies and/or product


• Ensure equipment is used correctly and is well maintained


• Stay informed about new products, brewing methods, etc., add items to the menu, create special order drinks


• Other duties as assigned
