Tremco Construction Products Group brings together Tremco CPG Inc.'s Commercial Sealants & Waterproofing and Roofing & Building Maintenance divisions; Tremco Barrier Solutions Inc.; Dryvit, Nudura and Willseal brands; Prebuck LLC; Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.; Weatherproofing Technologies Canada and PureAir Control Services, Inc. Altogether, Tremco CPG companies operate 21 manufacturing facilities, 6 distribution sites, and 3 R&D/technology sites, and employ more than 2,700 people across North America.


GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Manufacturing Operations Intern will be responsible for working closely with the VP of Operations to review and update the capital expenditure ("CapEx") process. This role is responsible for building a tracking document and dashboard to facilitate the budgeting process each year. Finally, the incumbent will drive a process flow to ensure timely CapEx submittal through the process.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conduct review of the existing CapEx process and identify potential gaps.
• Interview site and operational leadership to gain feedback and insight related to improvement opportunities.
• Work with members of the finance department to understand costing models.
• Benchmark CapEx processes and financial models.
• Prepare timely updates and reviews.
• Create process maps to support to specified projects.
• Acquire, analyze, and present data related to projects.

EDUCATION: Enrollment in 4-year degree program is required. Enrollment must be in one of the following fields: Business, economics, or engineering.


EXPERIENCE: 1+ month of relevant experience is required.


OTHER SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Organized, methodical problem-solving and critical thinking.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills to communicate data-based conclusions.
• Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with process mapping, analysis and improvement.
• The ability to travel up to an expected 25% of the time.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, talk, hear, and lift up to 10 lbs.


BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $17.00 and $21.50. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
