Assistant Controller *Job Title: * Assistant Controller

*Salary Range: * $80,000 - $90,000

We are looking for you, our next Assistant Controller, to help our growing non-profit Youth Shelter. We are focused on providing to our community and helping those who need it most. We have a wonderful work-life balance and we are all dedicated to our mission of serving the underserved!
What You Will Be Doing You will assist the CFO and Controller in leading the accounting staff and ensuring that the accounting books and records are maintained in accordance with policies and standards, as well as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. You will also review payroll processing, prepare month-end journal entries, review vendor disbursements, and assist with financial statement audits and grant billing. Additionally, you should possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and finance, and be able to interact effectively with all levels of management while maintaining confidentiality.
