Job Summary

Flagstar Bank is looking for an intern to join our Escrow-Mortgage Insurance team over the summer. As a Flagstar Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of our Escrow-Mortgage Insurance department. During this time, you will interact with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working alongside our team to learn our processes and improve efficiencies while expanding on the core concepts introduced throughout your college classes. Throughout your internship you will participate in multiple engagement sessions designed to enhance your career outlook, communication skills, and business knowledge.


Pay Range: Local Minimum Wage - $15.13 - $19.49



Job Responsibilities:



Process incoming mail (Kofax)


Complete daily tasks relating to private mortgage insurance


Payments to mortgage insurance companies


Review of exception reports


Duties as assigned



Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent Required


• Current college/university student or recent graduate pursing a Business major in Finance, Economics or Accounting


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables and v-look ups), experience with sql reporting concepts is a plus.


• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, attention to detail.


• Ability to multitask


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Reliable Home High Speed Internet required
