Flagstar Bank is looking for an intern to join our Customer Engagement team over the summer. As a Flagstar Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of our Customer Engagement (Call) Center department. During this time, you will interact with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working alongside our team to learn our processes and improve efficiencies while expanding on the core concepts introduced throughout your college classes. Throughout your internship you will participate in multiple engagement sessions designed to enhance your career outlook, communication skills, and business knowledge.
Pay Range: Local Minimum Wage - $15.13 - $19.49
Job Responsibilities:
The Operations Intern will be responsible for the supporting administrative duties as follows:
Time card processing
Real-time WFM support
Verification Tracker updates
Meeting back-up and note taker
SABA tracking and administration
Others as assigned
Job Requirements:
HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent Required
Current student or recent graduate pursing a major in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration, IT, or related area of study required
Intermediate/strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite; analytical mindset; extremely detail-oriented, reporting &/or technology fields; ability to work independently; previous customer experience/contact center experience preferred.
Motivated to learn and improve operational processes
Able to demonstrate solid writing and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and have a strong attention to detail
Adjusts positively to quickly-changing priorities and shifting goals in a fast-paced environment
Strong numeric and problem-solving capabilities
Ability to manage projects in an effective and productive manner
