We're a 30 year old global engineering, consulting & seismic mitigation products provider based out of Los Angeles, CA. We are a fast-paced, ever-changing, progressive company with a unique approach to the market. We have a pipeline of high-visibility projects in biotech, hospital, government, hospital and other large scale commercial construction.

We are currently looking for a Pipe Stress Engineer to join our team.

What You Will Be Doing Responsibilities include (not limited to):
- Conducting and assisting in stress analysis on mechanical, process systems, support & restraint design, 3D coordination within CAD software
- Assessment of piping systems (per ASME B31 codes)
- Use of AutoPIPE, STAAD, SolidWorks FEA, hand calculations for analysis
-Work with Structural Engineers, develop a series of (standard) installation details
- Understanding, clarifying, and controlling project scopes of work
- Assisting in developing quotes and cost analysis for projects
- Developing cost-effective engineering solutions
- Work with 3rd party reviewing entities including but not limited to project design teams, engineers, and local authorities
- Answering engineering questions and providing client information
What You Need for this Position - Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
- Mechanical PE license (in CA or TX)
- 2+ years experience with ASME B31 pipe stress analysis
- Working knowledge of AutoPIPE, AutoCAD, STAAD, SolidWorks FEA
- Trade-specific experience/understanding of mechanical process, electrical, plumbing, fire protection system construction is a plus
- Valid CA driver's license
- Self-motivated and ability to work independently
