As a Multimedia Design Specialist you will be an integral part in helping shape this brand-new role into a big value add in reinforcing our brand. In this role you will ensure quality production of finished print, digital, and video projects, execute highly engaging visual communications pieces; including but not limited to infographics, advertisements, audio/video, and other digital communications design, layout, brochures, publications, advertisements, etc. In collaboration with the Branding Team and the eCommerce Team, the Senior Multimedia Designer conceptualizes/proposes, produces, edits, maintains and updates various supporting print, digital, and multimedia communications assets for all Composites One and Synergy55 companies.
How will you impact our organization as a Multimedia Design Specialist on a daily basis?
Provide art direction and graphic design services, including conceptualizing and presenting relevant creative briefs that solve visual communication needs, and aligns with strategic priorities across departments, stakeholders, and affiliate organizations.
Collaborate with Director of Marketing Communications to ensure compliance for created assets with brand standards and expectations, and checkoff attribution requirements.
Provide visual communications assets (still or motion) to support programs, including but not limited to infographics, advertisements, videos, photography, and presentations.
Closely monitor distribution and creative archive needs, films, edits, customizes, and repurposes video content that follow best production cost estimates.
Provide print bids and creative options to fit client's budget and distribution needs.
Design internal newsletters, marketing materials, communication pieces and publication support.
Manage, organize, and tag a growing archive of creative assets via the digital asset management system.
Build relationships with vendor partners, and aid Director, Growth Marketing in acquiring and processing production cost estimates and invoices.
Oversee corporate archive, including appropriate assessment, collection, organization, preservation and maintenance of materials to ensure long-term access to archival assets determined to have long-term value.
Design powerful and strategic concepts that satisfy the asks of the brief, pushes for modernity, and drives purchase intent.
Stay up to date on design trends, media platforms, and competitors, to collaborate with team members and improve collective body of work.
Adapt design strategies to take advantage of new learnings, including marketing research, measurement & analysis, and client feedback.
Manage project lanes or small projects to completion by scoping tasks and managing resources to complete such tasks on time, within budget, and to specifications.
Work on multiple projects simultaneously to realize the organization's creative marketing goals.
Work collaboratively with a team of in-house designers, illustrators, and animators to develop creative materials from concept to final artwork.
Provide design advice, oversight to, and ensures alignment with clients and guidance to lower level designers and publishers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Requires a combination of high energy, empathy, and emotional intelligence to motivate and persuade stakeholders.
Superior oral and written skills are required to communicate at multiple levels within the organization, with Customers and industry leaders.
Proactive communication and follow up is essential to manage Suppliers and Customers.
Self-structure and a high degree of organizational skills are required to manage multiple products and market segments in a broad geographical area.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in multimedia design and creative asset development. Commensurate professional experience in video production and graphic design rules.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or a related field, or a combination of related experience and education.
Advanced proficiency using MS Office software to effectively execute work tasks, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
Requires experience with Adobe Creative suite, internal database and software systems.
Experience with basic html, Office 365, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint preferred.
Willing to travel up to 30%.
