As an Account Specialist, you support the launch, maintenance and refresh of medium to large customer apparel programs, including but not limited to: providing guidance and support in the design of custom websites, determining which products customer will carry, developing creative materials from templates, understanding customer business requirements and how they relate to Lands’ End processes, executing customer reporting needs, and supporting customer contacts in a number of other tasks as needed. Additionally, you work collaboratively with a variety of internal and external resources to execute processes and solutions that meet customer program requirements. You should also have a willingness to learn the Lean and Agile methodologies in order to provide quick turnaround on customer needs and keep an eye to improving the day-to-day operational processes as part of a team. 



  • You will work with sales partner to execute upon the strategic vision for account growth; Account Specialists should also identify new opportunities for sales growth within the accounts and share with Sales Rep assigned to account. Account Specialists may travel to marketing events in this vein.

  • You will support the launch, regular refresh and maintenance activities for assigned accounts, and also will help support other new account launches as part of a larger sales team.

  • You will act as main point of contact for customer - engage sales for activities surrounding ordering, contracts, new services/products, special events, rebrands, sharing promotions, or other potentially revenue generating activities

  • You will coordinate and facilitate client meetings with a focus on retention and relationship building.

  • You will manage relationship and communication between cross-functional partners and customer

  • You will actively identify areas for improvement and proposed solutions for those issues for both internal and client facing processes/procedures.

  • You will document Account Specialist processes for assigned account(s) following Process Documentation Templates/Processes.

  • Travel may be required 4-6 times per year to support accounts

  • Strong communicator with the ability to establish and maintain customer relationship.

  • Action oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects while remaining flexible in a self-directed, organized, decisive, professional and objective manner.

  • Ability to identify & implement innovative operational processes

  • Experience in effectively collaborating and communicating with customers and colleagues in a friendly, easy-to-understand and efficient manner, consistent with Lands' End philosophies.

  • Analytical, interpersonal, written, verbal, listening and negotiation skills as well as the ability to think creatively.

  • Ability to delegate, hold self and others accountable, and prioritize tasks for optimum efficiency.

  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to be uncover root causes. Self-awareness and a desire to grow professionally.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel. Available for minimal travel, including some weekends.
