What you will do

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all volunteer program activities in order to meet the needs of the organization in an effective and cost-effective manner complying with all regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Ensures the volunteer training program is current with regulatory guidelines and revises as necessary Responsible for creative recruitment techniques to ensure adequate number of volunteers to meet the needs of the Transitions Program and Hospice Services Interviews and selects volunteers that are appropriate to provide volunteer hours for administrative and or patient care Provides ongoing supervision and yearly evaluations for all volunteers Collects statistics as required to analyze effectiveness of volunteer program Ensures volunteer timesheets and progress notes are completed within time frames and are accurate Ensures the volunteer hours meet/exceed 5% per regulatory guidelines Maintains active volunteer files in an organized manner. Keeps current with required information Coordinates support/education meetings for volunteers on a regular basis Responsible for weekly volunteer update email Participates in the interdisciplinary team meetings Coordinates volunteer patient activities with rest of interdisciplinary care team. Including keeping care plans updated Coordinates volunteer activities with Transitions department/clients Engages in networking with individuals and community groups to promote the volunteer department and Partners In Care. Supervises Volunteer Associate Provides annual recognition activity for volunteers Adheres to Partners In Care Mission, Values, and Behaviors
