What are we looking for?
We are seeking a highly motivated team member to fill the role ofNetwork Security Engineering Senior Analyst. This individual will support Mars Inc,contributing to overall security strategy and assisting cross functional teams to develop network technical controls protecting Mars information assets. Additionally, this role is a technical subject matter expert that can determine the proper course of action in the event of a security incident and operates and maintains enterprise network security systems. These systems include next generation firewalls, cloud based security platforms and security management and monitoring equipment.

What will be your key objectives and responsibilities?
The Network Security Analyst is responsible for supporting the Security Engineering team with the daily operations and maintenance of network security systems & controls.
Secondary tasks may include involvement in customer requests handling, improving security posture, documenting system configurations, and operational process improvement.

Essential Functions:

• Works with Security Engineers to support and maintain Security controls for On-Prem and Cloud Security Environments including NextGen Firewalls, WAF, VPN and SSL Decryption technologies (Palo Alto/Checkpoint, ZScaler, Firemon).


• Operatively review & approve firewall requests


• Performs Firewalls Ruleset Hardening to reduce the risk to corporate owned networks


• Researches, evaluates, and stays current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies.


• Participate in multiple projects or department initiatives simultaneously.


• Assist in the implementation of internal IT Security projects.


• Accepts other duties as assigned.
