POSITION TITLE:     ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEY, DISTRICT 21

LOCATION:              McClain County, Purcell, OK

STATUS:                    FULL-TIME, EXEMPT, IMMEDIATE OPENING

CLOSING:                 OPEN UNTIL FILLED

SALARY:                   COMMENSURATE WITH EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

POSITION SUMMARY:

District 21 is seeking an Assistant District Attorney for the McClain County Office to perform a variety of professional duties, specifically:  prosecution of criminal offenses, including misdemeanors and felonies; handling of juvenile cases, including neglect, delinquency and child in need of supervision cases and other duties assigned.  Specific assignment of duties will vary based on experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Experience is not required, but prior prosecution experience preferred.

Juris Doctorate from accredited law school.

Admitted to and in good standing with Oklahoma Bar Association.
