YOUR ROLE • Supervise day to day activity for approximately 9 direct reports.
• Achieves Quality operational objectives by monitoring and assigning day-to-day activities, identifying and addressing gaps and problems; implementing change and providing regular feedback to the Quality Manager regarding system performance and issues
• Performs the project management function for the group including resource planning, objective setting, communication of issues and reporting project progress to the Quality Manager
• Serves as the Quality liaison with internal and external customers for projects in all stages of development.
• Management of rejects and blocked stock dispositions.
• Relays lab results to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains Training requirements and records for all Technicians & Specialists
• Responsible for ensuring MSAs are completed on the lab equipment.
• Responsible for all calibration/verification for the site.
• Must understand and follow all initiatives and processes for OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 regulations, procedures, and processes as they pertain to job responsibilities.
• Performs various other duties as assigned by the QA Manager.
YOUR SKILLS • BA Degree in Science preferred.Will consider strong supervisory skills and quality experience in lieu of degree.
• 2+ years of leadership skills preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment in related Quality position preferred.
• Proficient with a strong grammar and writing skillset.
• Strong organizational skills to be able to manage projects and personnel.
• Superb attendance is a must.
• Able to work in high stress, fast paced setting.
• Able to work some weekends as needed.
• Able to work outside of office, over and above the daily work schedule as needed.
The salary for this role is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
