Infosys is seeking VMware VDI Senior Technology Architect specialized in design, implement, run, and support VMware Horizon based VDI Setup on premise or Microsoft Azure. As a VMware VDI Technology Architect, you will be responsible for develop architecture for complex scenarios with integration points into various data centers using VMware Horizon and perform infra sizing and prepare BOM, calculate Infra costs, return on investment calculations. You will continuously every day work with the client Management team, collaborating and reporting status. Required Qualifications:
Candidate can work REMOTE and must be willing to travel to client sites. This position may require travel in the US.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
Minimum of 11 years of experience in Information Technology.
Able to design, implement, run, and support VMware Horizon based VDI Setup on premise or Microsoft Azure.
Hands on and design experience with App Layering, VMware Cloud Migrations, Workspace One setup
Development architecture for complex scenarios with integration points into various data centers with VMware Horizon.
Perform infra sizing and prepare BOM, calculate Infra costs, return on investment calculations.
Configure network components that support VDI: landing zone, VNet, subnets.
Perform sizing and configuration of scaling, load balancing.
Customize Windows 10 and Windows Server images from VDI Setup

Preferred Qualifications:
Respond to customer RFPs/RFIs and provide VDI solutions and estimation for VDI Setups on VMware Horizon
Experience in Azure AD/AD, GPOs
PowerShell scripting
Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies, scale up quickly and adapt to different roles as the situation demands
Ability to work independently, within general guidelines or best practices and lead complex technical solutions
Assist with ITSM processes, standard operating procedures, and user-guide development in support of technical activities
Arrange and engage with various integration forums and internal governance committees
Develop smooth working relationships between all parties within the support model to ensure the best possible service delivery and user experience
Define new architectures and drive an independent project from an architectural standpoint
Implement automations for significant reduction in manual efforts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
