Primary Purpose:
Under general direction and in conformance with Corporate and Division
policies and procedures, directs the financial control & accounting activities of the plant from regional (multi plant) perspective. Provides analysis, advice, and recommendations to help operations & plant management make operating decisions to reduce costs, improve profits, and to achieve goals and plans.
How you will do it:
Lead and coordinate efforts to design and implement common processes that meet business' process vision and business control objectives.
Define detail activities and assign ownership to team members engaged in plant ERP conversion and ongoing maintenance of ERP.
Participate in cross team integration discussions and facilitate business alignment across the finance teams at the plant level.
Ensure completion of process improvement opportunities & project deliverables within the Finance organization.
Proactively works with the regional operations leaders and plant teams to improve afinancial results consistent with operating plan commitments and objectives.
Assist in the preparation of written/graphical financial and operational information to support Operation Reviews, Forecasts/Profit Plans and Capital Appropriation Requests (CARS).
Validation and reconciliation of continuous improvement (CI) projects.
Coordinate and consolidate material for reporting for all plants in the region.
Ensure adherence to Corporate and Divisional accounting/internal control procedures, SOX compliance and reporting requirements.
Support ad -hoc requests.
What we look for:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
Minimum of 8-10 years of broad financial experience in all aspects of business control. Prior experience as a financial controller is recommended.
Directs the plant controller roles across several sites.
Ability to direct and control financial results in a multi-location plant operation.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees.
Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with strong problem solving capabilities.
Familiarity with IT systems as they relate to financial functions and operational areas.
Individual PC skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
