Head of Revenue Operations

The Head of Revenue Operations is primarily responsible for leadership & development of the Revenue Operations Team departmental goals and budget and aligning revenue strategy with operational support. In this role, you will be the author/owner/driver of the revops roadmap and sales strategy/process activation and optimization. Bringing all the cross functional support teams together to support sales in delivering commercial goals, including sourcing and leveraging Fitch Solutions resources

We'll Count on You To:


  • Oversight - Revenue planning, forecasting, account & territory planning/optimization
  • Facilitating change management needed to launch new, updated sales systems, process, and team
  • Creating & optimizing onboarding and training in collaboration with HR for sales team

  • Build & lead the revenue operations team that consists of 6 function areas that support CreditSights commercial organizations in processes, operations and systems & tools
  • Optimize processes, data, and systems across teams to deliver value to our commercial teams, improve efficiency, and maximize revenue
  • Deliver proactive and predictive data-driven insights to sales and marketing leadership to enable rapid decision making
  • Identify and measure key inputs vital in developing Sales team goals, strategies, plans, policies and improvement opportunities.
  • Own sales territory planning and assist sales management in identifying rep priority coverage areas
  • Own marketing technology stack including attribution tracking and reporting to optimize our marketing investments
  • implement & refine compensation plans for the sales organization
  • Oversee the administration and use of enterprise software applications used by the sales, marketing and support teams
  • Partner with enablement and onboarding teams to build world-class new hire onboarding and ramp process
  • Partner with the engineering and product functions to ensure sales has a "data-driven" voice to help influence priorities and provide feedback
  • Partner with business applications and IT teams to build and maintain a world class technology stack for commercial teams

What You Need to Have:


  • 5-10 years of related experience (i.e. sales operations, finance, BI, sales, or general operations)
  • Experience in managing Sales/Revenue Operations team
  • Degree in Business or related field from a four-year college or university
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to glean insights from processes, data, sales team feedback, industry best practices, continuous personal development, etc. to develop improved strategies
  • Demonstrated experience, knowledge and expertise within the industry
  • Strong acumen and experience with both highly transactional, inbound, inside sales models, and mid-market/Enterprise inside and field sales models
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce.com and other sales productivity tools, including best practices for use, integrations, reporting
  • Proven record of developing and implementing tactical initiatives that improve sales productivity, conversion rates, and sales team performance
  • Strong project and program management skills. Consulting background a plus
  • Intimate knowledge of sales forecasting, pipeline analysis, lead routing and follow-up best practices, outbound lead generation, pricing, contracting, RFPs, proposals, and reporting/analytics

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $200,000 and $230,000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
