Quality Assurance Technician - Pay starting at $19.50 per hour at Plastipak Packaging Inc. in Modesto , California

Job Description:

Plastipak Quality Technicians ensure customer specifications & company high standards of quality are met throughout our plastic container production operations.  Associates take pride in our reputation for excellence & position as an industry leader.

You Will

• Conduct inspections of in-process product & finished plastic containers to evaluate product quality in the lab and on the production floor.




• Use measuring instruments, such as calipers, scales and section weight cutters to measure dimensions & performance criteria adherence to customer specifications




• Regularly engage with Associates about product conformance.




• Resource for Production in any aspect of conformance to requirements




• Grow your knowledge & skills through a wide variety of training & on-the-job experiences

You Have

• Ability to work 7pm-7:30am on a 3-2-2 schedule which includes every other weekend.




• Intermediate computer skills




• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Associates degree in Quality Technology, Quality Assurance or a related field preferred.




• Minimum of one year of Quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred




• Superior attention to detail




• Strong interpersonal skills & desire to be a productive team member 




• Physical requirement includes ability to walk & stand on production floor throughout work shift with or without a reasonable accommodation
