Job Description:

Provide fare payment system technical and practical expertise in support of the work plan for MTA Capital Program Oversight on the NYC Transit New Fare Payment System with respect to budget, schedule and risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and constructively comment on New Fare Payment presentation to CPOC and submit IEC reviews on the NFP program to Office of Capital Oversight (OCO) and CPOC.
• Review and comment on the Technical Specification for the NYC Transit's New Fare Payment System.
• Review and comment on CPM design, budget and schedule for the PS-LAN program for the NYCT Subway Stations as it affects the NFPS Fare Control Area (FCA) LAN.
• Prepare and present monthly risk log on the NFPS to the OCO.
• Prepare monthly Program Monitoring Report to the IEC Program Director.
• Meet on a regular basis with various members of the Fare Payment Team to discuss specific aspects of the New Fare Payment System project.
• Provide ad hoc technical and practical support to the Fare Payment Team in any aspect of the NFPS program
• Performs other duties as required by the MTA

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Possess a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related. Advanced degree in Civil Engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 25+ years of related experience.
• Prior experience supporting MTA Capital Construction projects is required.
• Possess strong verbal, written, presentation and excellent client management skills.
• Excellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and prioritize competing project obligations.
• MS Office Suite

COMPENSATION

The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $249,000. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.
