The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for day to day operation of the stores within their region. The territory covered for this opportunity will be the Seattle area.
Responsibilities & Duties:
Hire and maintain an active and productive sales force and warehouse team in all stores
Responsible for proper ordering of merchandise for all stores in a timely and accurate manner
Manage stores’ budgets, sales goals, and profitability
Travel to all stores within region on a regular basis
Complete paperwork related to entering trucks and confirming pickup and delivery dates
Responsible for documenting any employee performance or behavior issues
Conduct morning meetings and set goals for the team
Assist in training new employees for the sales floor or other departments
Manage customer service and associate relations issues
Complete the New Hire Process correctly through current systems
Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to the Sales Associates
Ensure that all stores are clean, safe and presentable for customers and employees
Oversee cash handling procedures
Greet and assist customers
Ensure that all safety procedures and protocols are being followed and adhered to in all stores
Monitor incoming and outgoing products from the manufacturer and store to store transfers
Create scheduling policies that keep the sales floor and warehouse properly staffed in all stores
Ensure that Store Managers are taking deposits to the bank each evening
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must have excellent customer service and communication skills
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Persuasion, negotiation, and closing skills with previous sales experience a MUST
