NHA is searching for an Account Executive to join our Career Technical Education team. The Account Executive will be responsible for cultivating new business from K12 education prospects across an assigned territory. They will use consultative and value-based sales techniques to understand prospects’ business needs and recommend our frontline healthcare training and certification product solutions to key stakeholders and decision makers such as Superintendents, Directors of Education, Program coordinators, etc.  


Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years recent sales experience in education or health care sales with a proven track record of closing large deals, managing a pipeline of multiple sales opportunities, and executing on a sales strategy to drive results and consistently achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue expectations.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Marketing or a related field.

  • Understanding of healthcare industry workforce needs, terminology, and competitive environment.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives.

  • Ability to identify, develop, deploy, and support sales strategies and initiatives within the company as well as with strategic partners.

  • Ability to progress opportunities in a business development capacity with strategy to achieve corresponding growth targets and milestones.

  • Ability to analyze sales pipeline and regularly articulate your plan to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets to NHA business leadership.

  • Ability to travel to client locations, corporate training, conduct demos both in-person and virtual.

  • Basic knowledge using CRM (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus) as well as proficiency utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Able to build trust and obtain agreement from multiple decision makers throughout all stages of the sales process and during internal product strategy execution sessions.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities at once.

  • Ability to successfully collaborate and communicate with team members to ensure strong, positive, and profitable client relations by way of continual support throughout and beyond the sales process.


Preferred Skills and Experience:



  • Experience developing relationships with large School Districts and State Departments of Education

  • Involvement with product implementation across multiple locations by working with institution/site level contacts to standardize processes and procedures

  • Proficiency with creating and delivering effective presentations to small and large group audiences in face-to-face or virtual environments, to internal stakeholders (i.e. sales team leadership), and during tradeshows or conferences. Proficiency is defined as being clear, concise, error-free and persuasive.

  • Demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity, problem solving skills and pursuit of knowledge.

  • Ability to be self-motivated and driven.
