This role will support current US in-line solid tumor products and potential new US and EU indications/compounds. The incumbent will have responsibility for all aspects of non-personal promotion for both the HCP and Patient customer segments and assisting with brand planning and potential launch preparation and pre-launch activities. The incumbent will also have responsibility for the management of speaker programs. 

 

Position Summary: 

Under the leadership of the Director of Global Marketing, the Senior Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for the development, implementation, integration, and management of non-personal promotional (including digital marketing channel and social media) strategies, programs, and tactics for our HCP and Patient customer segment(s). Additional responsibilities include management of speaker programs and other key initiatives in collaboration with various members of the brand team and relevant internal stakeholders. As appropriate, this role provides direction for work delegated to assigned staff and/or vendors to ensure quality and timely completion of deliverables or provision of services. 

 

Performance Objectives: 


  • Shared responsibility for achieving revenue, market share and A&P expense targets.  

  • Execution of non personal promotional plans and programs, driving innovation and ensuring consistency with strategic brand plans. 

  • Management of budget for areas of accountability including: phasing, tracking and ongoing oversight.   

  • Collaboration and integration with members of the commercial team, cross functional team, as well as external agencies, to deliver against assigned objectives.  

  

Non-Personal Promotion / Digital  


  • Develop and execute core digital promotional materials for HCPs and patients including but not limited to websites, CRM, social media. 

  • Develop the digital marketing channel strategy to drive product awareness, usage, and engagement with the brands. 

  • Build and/or optimize engagement plans to grow digital footprint and drive desired behaviors to advance brand imperatives and lead readiness efforts for future indications/label updates. 

  • Drive personalized and automated omni-channel marketing innovation by staying up to date on latest digital technologies and platforms to reach more customers, enhance customer experience, and identify best practices. 

  • Work collaboratively with regulatory, medical, legal and compliance PRC team to ensure marketing materials are highly effective, compliant, and timely. 

  • Utilize data to perform in-depth analyses of customer level engagement and uncover insights that can be translated into actionable recommendations about channel and tactical choices.  

  • Manage brand communications and make strategic recommendations based on key internal and external medical and clinical updates from congresses, publications, etc. 

Social Media 


  • Drive the social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive demand.  

  • Continuously research social media trends and introduce new, innovative ways to engage with our audiences as well as share best practices to promote our brand. 

  • Data governance and quality control for social media platforms/tools. 

Speaker Program 

  • Manage the comprehensive speaker bureau comprised of OAM (Oncology Account Manager) programs, nursing programs, and product theaters/symposia. This would include identifying and interfacing with speakers, contracting, speaker training, developing materials, managing field facing systems and tracking. Work with compliance to ensure all programs are monitored and satisfy all legal and regulatory requirements. 

Launch Preparations of New Product/Indications 

  • Support development of key launch preparation workstreams and tactics for potential new indications and/or products. Assist with development and execution of key digital promotional tactics for HCPs and patients, as needed. 

Collaboration and Project/Budget Management 


  • Monitor day-to-day operations and performance of program(s) in areas of responsibility via metrics determined in conjunction with supervisor and other support functions as appropriate. 

  • Work with and manage external agency relationships, workflow, and related expense budgets. 

  • Work closely with other members of the product marketing team and cross functional team (i.e., medical affairs, sales training, sales operations, market access, market research), to ensure successful and timely execution of strategic and tactical plans. 

 

Education/Certification Requirements:    


  • Bachelor’s degree is required (general business or life science preferred) or Associate Degree and equivalent business specific experience.  

  • Advanced degree (MBA) considered a plus. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 


  • Minimum 4 years of pharmaceutical multi-channel marketing and digital media (HCP and/or Consumer) campaign development experience with an emphasis on both using data and digital media strategy, to optimize overall customer experience to drive business results. 

  • Strong knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to align marketing strategy and customer behavior change objectives to tactical campaign design across multiple dimensions (customer, channel, content, cadence).  

  • Experience in leveraging social media for a brand. 

  • Prior experience with speaker bureau activities preferred. 

  • Well versed in digital marketing tactics, core product marketing principles and campaign execution. 

  • Product launch experience, preferred by not required. 

  • Flexibility in responding to requests from leadership to support various key projects and initiatives that may arise. 

  • Ability to lead complex projects/solutions with hands-on, detail-oriented approach.  

  • Demonstrates ability to think strategically, build media/engagement plans, set measurement and optimization plans, and make data-based recommendations for enhancements and innovations.  

  • Understanding of compliance-related concepts that govern pharmaceutical marketing activities. 

 

 

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $163,200k and $192k annually. This pay range is based on the market range for positions of this type. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, commissions, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
