Job Description:

The HPC & AI Cloud Services Team is seeking an experienced Cloud Storage Architect to design and implement a hierarchical storage environment spanning the breadth of the services offered. Our team focus on providing supercomputing as a service (SCaaS) to a broad computing community through deploying cutting edge hardware and making it accessible through web-based platforms through novel business and consumer modalities. The successful candidate will join our stellar team to help engineer a highly forward-looking cloud computing platform that has data capabilities that optimize data performance, gravity, and liquidity across a complex ecosystem

This position can be filled anywhere in the United States

Primary Responsibilities

• Analyze, plan, debug, and integrate existing software frameworks to create an overall user- and developer-friendly hierarchical cloud storage architecture


• Break down complex data and to engineer new ideas and methods for solving, prototyping, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions


• Build a system providing optimized data flow, eliminating roadblocks for our High Performance Computing clients.


• Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance


• Interact with users and team members to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications


• Provide business value expertise to drive the development of innovative service offerings that enrich HPE's Cloud Services portfolio across multiple systems, platforms, and applications.

• 4-10 years of experience in storage infrastructure development


• Proven track record with several levels of storage technology, including cloud based, on-premises shared, and high-performance parallel filesystem technologies


• Deep knowledge of storage architecture and cloud services is required


• Understanding of high performance computing is important

Annual Salary: $140,300.00 - $322,600.00
