What you will do

The IT Analyst will implement, deploy, and provide 2nd level support of Smart Manufacturing IT solutions including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIOT) applications. These applications include production order management, data historians, overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), production traceability, material and inventory management, and statistical process control (SPC). The position will support our manufacturing operations organization within their US plants.

The candidate will develop and provide strong subject matter expertise and successfully deliver Smart Manufacturing solutions.  He or she will assist best application design and be accountable for development, deployment, and hand-over to the L1/L2 support organization.

Responsibilities

• Become the SME and own the whole life-cycle of the Smart Manufacturing IT and MES solutions – together with peers – whole US/CAN region. Focus will be on Engineering, Solution Design, and rollout management.


• Requirements engineering, fit/gap analysis, assist the design of solutions based on industry standard applications, time and cost estimates.


• Overlooking the implementation of Smart Manufacturing IT projects, delivered by our external implementation partners: Installation, configuration, customization, coding (if necessary) master data management, test management, system integration tests, user acceptance tests


• Create technical project documentation, functional and technical specifications, test script, and user training material


• Work closely with and assisting the IT project managers, using the IT project management methodology


• Collaborate with Clarios IT business facing partners and Clarios Manufacturing Operations business stakeholders (operations, maintenance, quality) in our production facilities in the US


• Collaborate with MES and IOT product vendors and external solution services and application management services providers


• Coordinate with cross functional teams such as IT infrastructure, IT application management, Business facing IT, Manufacturing Engineering, and business users

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related discipline


• Minimum of 6 year of relevant IT MES experience – ideally in a plant IT environment, MES project implementation, or software development


• 
  Please Note: Clarios is open to a junior level opportunity for candidates with less years of MES Experience (minimum requirement of at least 1 year of MES Experience)


• Experience in software design, software development lifecycle management, and programming languages like Dot.Net (C#, Visual Basic), Java, ASP.Net


• Experience in MS SQL databases including Stored Procedures customization


• Experience in one of the industry standard MES applications (GE Proficy - preferred, Delmia Apriso, Siemens SIMATIC IT, Invensys ArchestrA) would be appreciated


• 
  Flexibility: Can work remote from home, can work hybrid from one of our US Clarios' facilities, can work from world headquarters in the greater Milwaukee, WI market, this position is also posted in Monterrey, Mexico- LATAM Region...


• Ability to travel to US/CAN plants up to 15%
