Job Summary

Deflection Machine Operator (Create Fasteners for Automotive Manufactures)

As an incoming Operator producing Fasteners, we will train you to:

• Use Equipment that creates Fasteners for automotive companies worldwide.
• Perform Standard Quality Checks to assure fasteners are to highest quality standards
• Use 5S Standards to create a safe, high quality efficient environment
• As you grow, learn trouble shooting techniques that allow you to increase productivity and create highest quality standards
• Become part of a team within a cell running multiple machines

2 nd shift is 4pm- 230am

Job Duties

• Operate assigned mechanical equipment

• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements

• Perform basic troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments

• Read and interpret blue prints if applicable

• Use basic measuring instruments

• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately

• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)

• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures

• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• Perform work under general supervision

• Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff

• Possess beginning to working knowledge of subject matter

• 3 to 12 months of experience

Competencies/ Skills

• Ability to interpret work instructions

• Ability to follow written and verbal directions

• Basic verbal and written communication skills

• Basic mathematical skills
