Job Description:

An amazing teaching hospital located in Central Florida is currently searching for an experienced Nurse Director Women's and Children's Services to join their award-winning health care team.

The Nursing Director will oversee and support all clinical and service programs in Labor and Delivery, Recovery and Postpartum, Well Baby Nursery. The nursing director Is responsible for managing human, fiscal and other resources needed to ensure optimal support staffing and positive patient outcomes within the departments. This hospital does not have a NICU but there is a NICU at the Children's Hospital across the street. 

The Nurse Director Women and Children's Services role will require:

• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, required. A master’s degree in health care administration or business administration is preferred.


• Registered Nurse: Valid and Unrestricted Connecticut Registered Nurse license.


• Experience: 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience in Women’s Health, Labor and Delivery, or NICU environments, including 1-3 years of clinical nursing management experience
