A large teaching hospital in Southern Nevada is excited to bring on their next Hospital Coding Manager. This regional referral center and a Level I Trauma Center and the go-to facility in southern Nevada.. The experienced Medical Coding and Medical Records Manager will thrive in a fast pace and high acuity hospital environment.

Assistant HIM Director will be responsible for this hospital department that does all transcription and coding services. The Assistant HIM Director will lead the staff daily operations and work in alignment with long term goals. Much of the HIM staff have their RHIT, RHIA or CCS credentials.

The Assistant HIM Director will consistently review and modify department policy and procedures to ensure compliance with HIPPA and healthcare regulatory guidelines. A comprehensive understanding of hospital confidentiality, information security, information storage/retrieval and record retention will allow the Health Information Management Director to have a seamless transition into this important position.
