Customer Insights Manager (Remote) at Inmar, Inc. in Winston Salem, North Carolina

Job Description:

As part of the Retail Analytics team, the Customer Insights Manager is responsible for creating and delivering insights that address business challenges and opportunities. This role oversees the collection and analysis of structured/unstructured data and presents actionable insights in a digestible and impactful way using business intelligence applications for Inmar, CPG and Retailer partners.

The Customer Insights Manager also serves as a mentor and subject-matter expert for other members of the Retail Analytics team. The role provides the incumbent an opportunity to participate in developing an analytics paradigm, empowering them to make recommendations that further Inmar's initiative to adopt data - driven insights.

Primary Accountabilities:  

Analytical (50%)

● Collaborate with Customer Success in developing and presenting information to tell data-driven stories, including post-event analytics, forecasts, estimating the business impact, and identifying improvement opportunities.
● Demonstrates and cultivates the ability to derive insights based on qualitative and quantitative data (shopper, performance, etc.)
● Designs frameworks for business analytics when customer specific customization is needed
● Independently manage and serve as the single point of accountability on projects with minimal supervision.

Strategic (30%)

● Serves as a retail expert with a demonstrated ability to turn data into insights, and insights into both strategic and tactical recommendations linked to customer objectives
● Collaborate with other business stakeholders on strategic projects that grow and spur data-driven decision making.
● Aid in the preparation and modification of how Inmar’s products drive value, as well as the post-event analytics that document the value that Inmar’s solutions have helped create.
● Serves as an advisor and thought partner with the customer and in partnership with the Customer Success Leaders

Technical (20%)

● Actively participate in data design and integration for strategic initiatives.
● Serve as a subject-matter expert on analytics initiatives with structured/unstructured data sources,
including 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data.

Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor's Degree; Master’s Degree of Business Analytics or Masters of Business Administration related field is preferred
● Five to seven years of experience with an agency, marketing firm, advertising technology firm, CPG manufacturer or retailer.
● Knowledge of programming languages, such as Python, R, and SQL

● Solid experience using Google BigQuery and with industry-standard visualization tools, including Tableau
● Experience leveraging retailer, consumer packaged goods data, or syndicated data is highly preferred
● Demonstrated ability to translate data and analysis into implications and recommendations and be comfortable presenting to internal leaders and clients
● Must have demonstrated the ability to handle sensitive, confidential information appropriately
● Ability to communicate, cultivate relationships, and work with various external and internal partners
● Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

Additional Information

The national average hiring range for this job is $80000- $90000 and the salary can fluctuate based on geographic location and qualifications. Pay is based on several factors which may include, but are not limited to: education, work experience, certifications, labor markets, etc. This role includes an opportunity for company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Core Company Performance Bonus.

The actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
