Job Summary

This position maintains one or more Engineering Programs and directs activities in program execution. The Program Engineers inspects and evaluates plant conditions, providing technical recommendations in accordance with program requirements.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

•Performs assigned task with minimum guidance from supervision

•Provides technical direction and administration of program activities

•Evaluates identified deficiencies and provides recommendations

•Coordinates assigned projects, studies and initiatives through completion

•Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

•Prepare and present routine reports

•Participate in special project and committee assignments as requested

•Lead routine problem - solving efforts

•Provide contract coordination and vendor oversight

•Coordinate with and advise state and local agencies on plant interests

•Serve as site representative to industry groups

•Participation in Emergency Response role required

•Extended hours may be required to support plant issues or outage assignments

•Job may require ownership of or qualification to additional engineering programs

** Final pay grade will be determined based on skills and qualifications **

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:

•4 yrs. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear)•And 6 yrs. related job experience• Experience with Engineering Program management or implementation preferred.
