Job Description:

Why Hearst Autos?

As the leading automotive media organization in the world, Hearst Autos connects car buyers, owners, and enthusiasts to the information they need, the experiences they crave and the stories they love – while connecting automotive marketers to this audience of unrivaled breadth and diversity.   As a division of Hearst Magazines, we offer the best of both worlds: a nimble, fast-paced entrepreneurial environment coupled with the career development opportunities and perks of an established company.

Bring a Trailer is a part of Hearst Autos family. BaT Auctions are the best way to buy and sell classic, collector, and enthusiast vehicles. We curate vehicles submitted by our audience and craft transparent auction listings that present the vehicles as they are—without superlatives or dubious used-car-lot language. BaT's ever-growing community of knowledgeable users vets each listing so potential buyers can bid with confidence. We are currently hiring multiple Production Specialists for this innovative and iconic business.

  • You will work with sellers and team members on adding informational updates to listings.

  • You will act as the point of contact for sellers during the initial stages of listing creation up to the point of auction go-live and respond to sellers in a timely and professional manner.

  • You will provide customer support such as answering questions, giving advice or tips, and address seller concerns/worries.

  • You will manage and prioritize work on a large queue of listings in various stages prior to the listing going live in auction and complete an assigned work queue daily.

  • You will shepherd listings through our internal system and serve as the “original expert” on the history of a listing as it is touched by other teams.

  • You may perform additional duties and projects on an as-needed basis.

Who You Are

  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of motivation, integrity, and warmth.

  • You are methodical when it comes to organization!

  • You have the ability to manage many different stakeholders and projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • You possess the tact to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion, and the ability to gain seller’s confidence and trust.

  • You are solutions-oriented and have the ability to resolve conflict independently with patience and empathy. But you also know when to ask for guidance!

  • You have a can-do attitude and a flexible and eager attitude toward helping with company needs as they arise.

  • You have domain knowledge and an interest in the kind of vehicles we feature on BaT each day.

The base salary for this role is between $66 – 72K annually.  The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
