Job Description:

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking applicants for the position of a Loader Operator.  We are growing and expanding our staff and looking for individuals to join our team who is looking for long term employment.

Functions/Duties: 

• General cleanliness of assigned equipment.


• Perform pre-shift inspection, maintain equipment repairs/maintenance records, and ensure that records are turned in to your supervisor.


• Perform other duties as required when not running the loader.


• Must be qualified to work in a safety sensitive environment.


• Operate heavy construction equipment in a professional & efficient manner to maintain production goals.


• Long hours and some weekends may be required.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.


• Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency


• Must have 2 years Loader Operator experience.


• Preferably with Caterpillar 980 and 988


• Ability to accept responsibility for his/her actions specifically Safety related

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• Must be able to meet all MSHA safety requirements and adhere to company safety policies.


• Must be able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time; grip, climb, reach, shovel, squat, crawl, or pull, push, as well as bend and lift up to 80 pounds.

MSHA training provided
