TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler/Planner in Byhalia, MS.

Responsible for providing manufacturing with a production plan consistent with the plant capacity and customer requirements. Will evaluate and analyze data in order to produce a level daily schedule.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• The Planner & Scheduler owns the detailed assembly schedules derived from the Master Production Schedule, including MRP and Inbound Logistics


• Delivers, manages, and maintains viable production schedules to the shop floor and manufacturing cells


• Works with manufacturing leads and purchasing to ensure schedules are met


• Opens and releases manufacturing job orders to the shop floor. Expedites job orders as required.


• Determines purchased component delivery schedules using pull systems and MRP


• Reconciles component shortages; communicates material shortages to purchasing, and assist in identifying and resolving production problems


• Redefines manufacturing schedule when changes are required


• Manages inventories-raw materials, packaging and finished goods. Determines appropriate inventory required to meet all requirements


• Owns the assembly planning process, including data integrity, maintenance of the production plan, and capacity planning.


• Create and manage various product/delivery reports as part of daily tasks

Who we are looking for

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree required; Project Management experience & APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) preferred


• Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access. Spreadsheet formulation, queries, v-lookup, advanced formatting techniques and etc.


• Possess extensive experience in working with integrated computer programs and/or applications. − Possess very strong communication skills (verbal and written) along with sound interpersonal skills to all levels of organization.


• 3+ experience in Production Control/Planning and/or Scheduling area within
  a fast paced manufacturing environment.


• Production or planning experience in large capacity manufacturing industries
