Job Description:

Babcock & Wilcox Company seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer based out of our office at 436 Creamery Way, Suite 350, Exton, PA 19341. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address. Note, this position requires domestic travel, as needed, up to 5%. Perform product design functions including calculations, drafting, 3D modeling, drawings, and gathering of material cost data, for various proprietary product lines within the Allen-Sherman-Hoff division. Layout pipe routing and conveyer routings in 2D or 3D software systems for overall material handling systems. Work in a team environment with other engineers and designers for specific contracts and projects. Maintain direct interaction with customers or end users is also occasionally required. Work within the Engineering - Product Support Group of the company.Bachelor's degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Special skills must include utilizing mechanical components and systems and 2D and 3D modeling software in an engineering capacity.

This position requires domestic travel, as needed, up to 5%.
