Description: Early Morning Logistics Coordinator- Michigan Paving & Materials

Shift: Tuesday through Saturday 3:00am until 12:00pm (Noon)

Location: Canton Michigan/Hybrid

Logistics Coordinator Job Purpose: Provide support to the logistics department while handling change orders and managing dispatch phone.

Logistics Coordinator Duties:

• Review days internal and external trucking hours via telematics and submit for payment


• Collect and review third party broker paper tickets for accuracy and submit for payment


• Create and maintain various logistics reports


• Answer MPM Customer Service phone line


• Maintaining internal Key Performing Indicators and supply to management


• Communicate daily changes supplied by customers, vendors and management to all necessary parties to ensure proper order completion and documentation


• Operate in a team-oriented atmosphere


• Daily scheduling of company owned flowboys and third party brokers for internal construction and customer sales

• Bachelor's Degree in either Supply Chain Management, Logistics, applicable studies or equivalent work experience


• Highly organized, able to manage time with constantly changing priorities, reporting and documentation skills, supports innovation and process improvement, MS Office Suite Proficient


• Comfort and familiarity with technology

• This position is scheduled 3am- 12pm Tuesday- Saturday


• Customer focused attitude


• Maintain high level of support to the rest of the logistics group


• Position requires ability to work some overtime and weekends


• Ability to communicate within a team setting


• High speed internet required at home
