Basic Job Functions:



Nucor Fastener is seeking an HR Administrator who will provide general office support, assisting with recruitment, teammate relations, new hire orientations, benefits and other personnel related duties. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, assisting in company sponsored programs/projects, clerical tasks such as answering a multiline phone system, general office duties for office and production departments, in addition to demonstrating a high level of confidentiality assisting the divisions HR department with multiple HR customer service functions.


Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to imitate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.




Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent


• One (1) year Human Resource experience


• One (1) year Customer Service experience


• Cannot have relatives working at Nucor Fastener (both locations - St. Joe/Shelbyville)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in HR or business related field


• Prior experience working in a fast-paced office setting


• Previous experience working with SAP Success Factors
