What you will do

The Source Tagging Account Manager is a customer-focused, sales role responsible for an assigned book of business and will advise customers and position high-theft product assortments with EAS security tagging occurring at the point of manufacturer. You will be responsible for a single customer or multi-customer source tagging book of business, consisting primarily of Tier 1/2/3 customers. The majority, if not all, customer interactions are focused on merchandise protection optimization, will include transactional, tactical, and strategic activities, and are expected to take place via regular face-to-face meetings (in person and/or video) and with regular communication via phone and email.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to make real-time decisions to identify, diagnose and resolve customer issues on all fronts. They will require high-level organization skills, the ability to handle multiple accounts and engage with multiple management levels within the organization (internally and externally). The role will require strong customer-facing communication, teamwork, and business development skills.  

How you will do it


  • Identify, pursue, and close new source tagging opportunities, grow the business. Ensure customer satisfaction and revenue retention targets are achieved 


  • Own, cultivate, and develop the relationship with assigned customers 


  • Present source tagging program to customers, vendors, merchants, OEMs, and resellers 


  • Plan, direct, oversee and/or conduct in-store merchandise protection audits . Monitor program participation, analyze key program data, and deliver program dashboard reports  



  • Create, articulate, and deliver Sensormatic value propositions to assigned customer 


  • Manage contractual compliance, renewals, amendments, and negotiation of pricing and terms 


  • Individual contributor, no direct responsibility for leading others.  


What we look for

Required Experience:  


  • Professional customer-facing retail experience working with loss prevention, operations, and merchandising customer organizations 


  • Advanced level communicator comfortable working with all levels (internally and externally)  


  • 3-5 years of sales, business development, and account/portfolio management experience 



  • Proven sales and service ability with high-level corporate contacts 


  • Contract management  


Skills: 

  • Proficient in customer relationship management, business development, revenue growth, revenue retention, contract management, and value creation for key customer accounts 


  • Entrepreneurial attitude, agile, creative, and solutions-focused leadership style 


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a matrix organization 


  • Strong attention to detail, organized, focused on maintaining a high degree of productivity, efficiency, and accuracy 


  • Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office product suite 


  

Education: 

  • Four year degree in Business, Marketing, or technical field preferred
