Job Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Key participant in the general ledger and month-end closing, including ensuring adherence to strict deadlines, posting journal entries, preparing and compiling control reports, and preparing and compiling account reconciliations


• Records and reports all corporate cash receipts


• Supports the annual audit, budgeting and financial analysis, and quarterly reviews for general ledger related items


• Utilizes financial systems to support accounting requirements


• Supports the continuous financial systems upgrades


• Identifies, implements, documents, and enhances business processes


• Supports maintenance of Corporate Accounting policies and procedures

Prepares management reports and ad hoc assignments as needed

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in either Accounting or Finance or relevant, equivalent experience and/or education


• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills


• Advanced knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications


• Ability to multi-task as well as reprioritize and balance workload based on changing needs
