Job Description:

IKids Burleson Pediatric Dentistry, an award-winning practice, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Dental Assistant to join our fast-paced and family-oriented team. Located in a vibrant area with convenient access to shops and restaurants, our practice provides exceptional dental care to children in a fun and supportive environment.
Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of young patients.Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean and organized dental environment.Take and develop dental x-rays, and perform dental charting accurately.Assist in the placement of sealants and coronal polishing, if certified, to promote optimal oral health.Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.Help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for children and their families.Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient experiences.Adhere to all infection control protocols and safety guidelines.Provide excellent customer service and address any patient concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program.Current CPR certification.X-ray certification (required) and Sealant and Coronal Polishing certifications (preferred).Experience working in a pediatric dental setting is a plus.Familiarity with dental software systems is desirable.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Genuine passion for working with children and providing exceptional pediatric dental care.
