Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• At Least six months experience in paper tube manufacturing


• Prior experience with high speed production equipment, saw or winding machine preferred


• Strong leadership and the ability to take initiative


• Prepare mandrels and saws and make adjustments as necessary for each work order using hand tools


• Dependability: Little / no unscheduled absences, ability to work overtime as required


• Proficiency in conversion of fractions to decimals


• Adhere to specific quality standards to ensure customer satisfaction


• Ability to read various measurements equipment including tape measure, calipers and micrometers.


• Ability to read and interpret work orders to understand machine setup requirements.


• Perform periodic quality checks to ensure compliance to specification and/or COAS

Physical Requirements

• Lifting up to 50 pounds


• Stooping, bending, and moving about the plant for up to 12 hours per day


• Ability to read tape measure, calipers and other measuring tools
