JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Finance Manager is responsible for global management of Finance related aspects of Information Technologies Organization for the Corporation. This support includes leading and influencing continuous improvement activity to enhance business performance and customer service. This is not limited to and will include business strategy & performance related to IT investments, reporting & analysis of financial operating results, support of the forecast and planning process and supporting corporate finance initiatives.
LOCATION
This position will be based on-site at our St. Petersburg, FL Headquarters.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and contribute to the IT Organization’s strategic direction including the knowledge of suppliers, industry, competition, footprint, and IT infrastructure plans.
Support the development of financial planning and reporting to include timely and accurate preparations of budgets and business plans. Provide support to Segments, Divisions, Sectors, Plants or BUs on allocations and charge backs.
Facilitate and support cost management initiatives across cost centers in IT.
Drive cost improvement initiatives, manage vendor relationships and business cases and report on results. Understand key cost drivers to help maximize benefits to Jabil.
Provide support on RFPs, reviewing supplier contracts and assess impact to the organization.
Effective coordination and management of IT contracts and related services with various groups across the organization.
Work closely and effectively align with Indirect spend team.
Utilize existing financial tools to support decision making and contribute towards the development of future tools and needs across the organization.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Demonstrate a broad range of financial expertise in corporate functions cost management.
Strong knowledge of financial system and processes (SAP, TM1, PEGA).
Experience with change management, implementation and management of continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
Understanding of IT hardware and software suppliers and pricing strategies.
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
Strong and convincing communication skills.
Leadership/people-management skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management.
5+ years of work-related experience is required.
Basic experience/knowledge of US GAAP and SOX is required.
