At Anord Mardix we are growing fast and are re-imagining how we do things. One area that we know we can improve on is our materials, inventory and production planning and execution. This role will be a very visible role and will impact our ability to make critical and timely decisions.

The Materials Planning Expert is a senior professional, who is responsible for gathering data and providing valuable insights that drive efficient planning and execution decisions

WHAT A TYPICAL DAY LOOKS LIKE:

• Use your analytical skills to bring our material planning strategy to a higher level.


• Correlate a variety of data from different sources and through analysis develop a deep level of understanding of inventory levels, flow, aging, replenishment strategy etc.


• Draw inferences and provide insight and identify issues that help Anord Mardix continue to provide a premium customer experience.  


• Prepare summary reports, spreadsheets, and charts based on research of data from multiple sources, (some examples; customer bills of material reports, staff metrics, PPV metrics, and PPV form tracking)

THE EXPERIENCE WE’RE LOOKING TO ADD TO THE TEAM:

• Skilled proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Outlook, core Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookup etc) are a must!


• Understanding of inventory, demand planning, capacity planning, BOM, inbound materials and the relationship between them


• Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing, materials, inventory and related planning processes


• Bachelor's Degree required


• 3+ years of related experience

Preferred

• Experience with make-to-order type manufacturing


• Experience with an ERP


• 5+ years of experience
