Role:


As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you’ll join our Data & Digital team helping us lead, design and build our digital transformation and define what’s next for our business—while working in an organization that’s continuously investing in data and systems. 


You will be a leader within the technical program management team shaping, executing, and delivering solutions for stakeholders across the enterprise.  You will be focused on leading programs aligned to our organization’s strategies, creating new capabilities, and continuing our focus to bring the most value to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Lead enterprise programs with understanding best practices for cloud transformation and migration solutions

  • Grow and mature our technical program management practice and cloud capabilities

  • Leverage technical expertise to develop thorough integrated program plans with key milestones and outcomes: project plans, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and/or resource needs for complex programs

  • Manage and lead communication across the cross-functional program team to ensure clarity, alignment, and resolution of any decisions or actions

  • Manage integrated program plans, dependencies, leverage strong technical background to identify risks, anticipate issues, make difficult trade-off decisions, and to work closely with Product and Engineering to drive successful implementation.

  • Partner with finance to develop Cloud Operations processes, tools, technology, as well as establish a culture and mindset of efficiently monitoring cloud cost

  • Create and maintain Cloud and Business Transformation TCO / ROI analysis to validate program viability over time

  • Work with external technology partners to discuss required services, track consumption spend, and ensure proper collaboration/delivery with internal teams.

  • Conduct program evaluations, including capturing relevant, timely feedback and incorporating successes and areas for improvement into future iterations of the programs. Partnering with the program leads and to determine success metrics and measure impact of each program over time

  • Bring in the latest innovative thinking and ideas from the Agile community to increase agility, leveraging lean, scrum, Kanban, and other agile principles

  • Partner with Technology and Business stakeholders to support and/or lead workshops across the Cloud Transformation Journey (Planning & Readiness, Mobilization, Modernization, and Optimization)

  • Maintains an awareness of changing organizational conditions and their impact to strategic objectives, using knowledge to adapt and evolve their approach.

  • A successful TPM must have the ability to recognize, measure, and mitigate the risks within a given program or across the program portfolio

  • Great people skills to enable strong working relationships with various teams, influence and get buy-ins in various situations, make strategic decisions, and gain trust

  • Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical ideas and issues to both technical and non-technical team members to ensure everyone is on the same page


 Education/Certifications  



  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, information Systems, or related discipline

  • Master’s degree preferred

  • Certification(s) in Agile Scrum methodologies preferred

  • AWS Cloud certifications preferred


Experience/Minimum Requirements  



  • 10+ years technical program management experience with multiple experiences leading enterprise, cloud transformation programs

  • 5+ years’ experience in software engineering with focus on enterprise and cloud services, and familiarity with OSS/BSS

  • 5+ years of experience in software development and implementation

  • Experience with cloud computing (AWS, Google Cloud and Azure), online services, externalizable APIs, enterprise software development, engineering and associated operations at scale, application security, data platform, financial operations, and migration planning & execution

  • Experience in conceptualizing, designing and delivery of engineering outcomes & program launches across cross functional teams and domains

  • Experience co-creating and owning technical program roadmap, strategy, and definition

  • Experience in forecasting agile programs based on velocity and demand


Working Conditions: This is a remote role with the expectation of on-site/in-person collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter and may require up to 25% travel.


For New York City, Colorado, California, and Washington residents - The hiring range offered for this position is $179,700 - $206,600 annually. In addition to salary, employees are eligible for an annual bonus of up to 30% of annual salary and restricted stock. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
