As the Assistant Care Services Manager, you will:  


... collaborate with the Care Services Manager to schedule all clinical staff to ensure resident needs are met while complying with the community’s budget. You will also be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (iADLs) by the community’s team of Resident Care Partners (RCPs).


What you’ll do here:  



  • Conduct comprehensive resident evaluations before move-in, at admission, quarterly, and upon a resident’s change of condition

  • Partner with the Care Services Manager to create and implement an individualized care plan for each resident

  • Identify each resident’s physical, psychological and environmental needs as determined by health care providers, clinical records, daily resident logs, team reports and on-site evaluations

  • Report and document community issues through internal and external reporting processes and conduct internal investigations

  • Participate in manager on duty rotation and provide oversight of the community’s medication management program in the absence of the Care Services Manager

  • Manage the team of Resident Care Partners to ensure quality and continuity of care

  • Partner with the Care Services Manager on recruiting, interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training clinical and other staff

  • Promote, coach, performance manage, and terminate Resident Care Partners consistent with Enlivant policies

  • Create schedules for all clinical staff

  • Assist the Care Services Manager with community quality improvement processes in consultation with the Executive Director

  • Coordinate with third-party physicians, pharmacy, and other medical professionals to promote quality care and independence for residents

  • Ensures utmost resident and employee satisfaction and retention through continuous improvement of care, service, and culture

  • Occasionally assist residents with medication administration, bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transferring, and eating

  • Ensure quality resident care is consistently delivered in accordance with all local, state and federal law

  • Partners with Care Services Manager and Executive Director to manage all state and local surveys and inspections

  • Oversee compliance, efficiency initiatives, and team’s understanding of policies and procedures

  • Additional duties as assigned 



We’d love to talk if:  



  • You are a Licensed nurse (RN, LPN/LVN) with a current/unencumbered license

  • You have computer proficiency with Microsoft Office as well as the ability to learn new software applications

  • You have basic written and oral English communication skills 

  • You care about serving seniors 


 


Bonus points if:    



  • You are a Registered Nurse

  • You have experience managing teams or leadership experience

  • You have one year of clinical experience in long term care, community-based care, or assisted living

  • You have zero to two years’ experience managing teams or equivalent leadership experience

  • You have experience interacting with individuals diagnosed with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease 


Salary Range: $58000  - $72500  , based on experience.



You are required to complete any necessary health requirements which may change from time-to-time, such as vaccination.
