The Graphic Designer and Video Editor will work as part of the Program Aurora Change Management Organization and will work directly with Strategic Communications and Engagement Manager and Aurora Communications team and change managers in order to drive change and employee engagement. The role provides video editing, video creation, including animation, and graphics in support of the successful delivery and deployment of Program Aurora initiatives

This role is part of the Aurora Communications Team, reporting directly to the Program Aurora Strategic Communications and Engagement Manager, which in turn reports to the Director, Global Business Services, Strategic Change Management and Communications.

In this role, you will:


  • Direct, brainstorm, conceptualize, design, develop, and coordinate graphic projects, illustrations, and production for a variety of branding assets, campaign materials, as well as promotional collateral. Review, develop, and oversee brand identities for collateral in both digital and printed applications.

  • Create motion graphics, animations, and editing for video projects.

  • Lead and develop Program Aurora’s video library of assets

  • Develop and maintain Aurora Brand in video and graphic design

  • Collaborate with communications partners on the development of strategic video storytelling

  • Manage design projects in collaboration with Aurora Communications team and Change Managers; advise on the practical application of graphic design as a tool of visual communication.

  • Design and develop the production of a wide variety of assets using different mediums including editable templates that teams can customize. This will require comfort with transferring designs into PowerPoint software.

  • Ensure compliance with design standards, corporate policies, and style guides.

  • Create typographic compositions, conversions and manipulation of photographs and illustrations, using a variety of reprographic techniques, computer software, and materials.

  • Select and edit photos for publication.

  • Prepare camera-ready art and design files as needed for printed deliverables.

  • Ensure adherence to production deadlines, quality standards, and project specifications.

The successful candidate will join the Strategic Comms and Engagement Program Aurora team and report to Strategic Communications and Engagement Manager for Program Aurora.

  • At least 3-5 years' professional experience in a content creation, design, or video production role.

  • Superior time management and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a high-speed work environment.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Customer and service orientation must be high, combined with professional maturity and judgment to suggest different approaches where appropriate.

  • Functional/technical skills, with ability to adapt to software less traditional to design and editing industry, such as Power Point and Word.

  • Access to a strong internet connection.

  • Ability to perform work with a high-level of attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work creatively within corporate brand standards.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in full Adobe suite such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects.

  • Experience collaborating with diverse individuals and multiple ideas on projects.

  • Please provide portfolio of work samples including both graphic design and video.

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual art or related field or equivalent. experience/education.

  • Experience with ClickUp, with software like Vyond, excellent Animation creation.

  • Familiar with pre-press print production principles, including color management, file formats, and image conversion requirements for offset lithography, digital printing, and products.
