Job Duties: The Loom Operator will maintain continuous high-quality product from the beginning of the weaving process to the completion of the product on the reel

Hours:


  • Days: 7:00am-7:00pm

Schedule:

  • One week you work 48 hours and the next week you work 36 hours
  • Total of 84 hours for a pay period
  • Every Other Weekend Off
  • Work 15 days a month

PAY :


  • Starting Pay for this position is $19.36/HR
  • Paid Bi Weekly ( 84 hours )
  • 8 of the 84 hours is scheduled overtime

Duties & Responsibilities


  • Assist other associates as required
  • Assist in training new associates
  • Load and maintain the required amount of raw materials on reels
  • Know and understand the applications of commonly used yarn types
  • Maintain winders to ensure tape is winding properly
  • Check and maintain lube levels in lubricator
  • Check and verify that weft and lockstitch are being properly woven into the product
  • Check and maintain fluid levels
  • Build reels to make sure enough are left for the next shift
  • Maintain production logs recording all problems and downtime
  • Operate a forklift
  • Wrap pallets for completed product
  • Follow all safety requirements of this position
  • Abide by all policies and procedures in the employee handbook
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area
  • Perform all other duties as directed by management.
