Position Title: Engineering Program Manager

 

Location: Hybrid role. At least 3 days/week in office at Minneapolis, MN USA

A Day in the Life

 

Responsibilities typically include the following, but other duties may also be assigned.


  1. Being operations (sourcing, manufacturing, quality, logistics, & EHS) core team representative on project team

  2. Excellent project management skills. Ability to develop WBS, schedule, and evaluate risk.

  3. Able to exert significant influence in a matrix organization.

  4. Excellent financial acumen. Ability to estimate COGS, perform make v buy analysis, and develop financial models to drive supply chain decisions.

  5. Estimate capital costs of end-to-end manufacturing processes including material handling, process, assembly, test, pack, sterilization, and labeling.

  6. Partner with manufacturing to ensure lean layout of equipment at select contract manufacturers.

  7. Specify and source equipment necessary to meet defined manufacturing process.

  8. Ability to perform VSM, OEE, make vs buy, capacity, and other analysis.

Must Have:

 


  1. Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or

  2. Master’s degree with a minimum of 4 years relevant experience.

  3. Degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Industrial Engineering.

 

Nice to Have:

 


  1. Familiarity working in an FDA regulated environment.

  2. Dynamic, positive attitude with ability to multi-task, appreciate diversity, and work with people.

  3. Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision. 

  4. Strong communication, project management, leadership, and presentation skills

  5. Solid organizational and functional coordination ability
