The project goal is to enhance current sales quoting tool in order to automatically quantify profit margins when quoting an order.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The inside sales intern will be part of the north america sales team and will be exposed to day-to-day activities to gain as much experience as possible. They will discover all aspects of sales function and its interaction with the manufacturing team.
Their role will be to understand services offered, their prices and costs from past orders and standards in order to create an automatic tool that helps identify profitability of each quote.
They will work in coordination with sales team, operations, and supply chain to ensure a thorough understanding of the business and implementation of the tool.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Pursuing bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing or related field.

The intern would preferably have:
Power Bi knowledge (Free tutorials available online)
Advanced in MS Excel (formulas & macros)
Experience with Microsoft Office, the Microsoft Power suite, Sharepoint.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and the ability to exercise good professional judgment.
Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management regarding project activity.
Experience working in a team environment.
Naturally innovative and critical thinker with a "can-do" attitude, proactively seeking out new ideas and continuously willing to learn and adapt new things.
